PALM BEACH COUNTY:
- Port of Palm Beach reopens under normal conditions.
- Intracoastal bridges remain locked down and closed to boat traffic, but open to motorists.
- Palm Tran plans to resume fixed-route service on a Sunday schedule Friday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m.. There is no Palm Tran Connection service today. Fixed-route and Palm Tran Connection will resume a normal schedule beginning Saturday, Oct.8.
- Tri-Rail service will resume Sunday.
- Some flight service at PBIA has resumed. Please call your airline to confirm.
- County parks and county beaches will be open later today, but no lifeguards will be on duty. Sports facilities, pools and nature centers will not be open today. It's anticipated that most county parks and beaches will open tomorrow as previously scheduled.
- Palm Beach County Libraries expect to be open tomorrow unless a specific branch has damage.
- All Senior Centers will reopen on Tuesday.
- All Publix stores have now been reopened in Palm Beach Co.
- USPS will deliver mail in Palm Beach Co. Friday, October 7
- Solid Waste Authority facilities and service to resume Saturday. Normal waste and recycling collection in unincorporated Palm Beach County will resume on regularly scheduled collection days beginning Saturday, Oct. 8.
- All SWA facilities will stay open until 5 p.m. Saturday. All SWA facilities will run extended hours Monday through Friday of next week, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- All Palm Beach County Pollo Tropical locations will re-open at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7.
- All South Florida Whole Foods Markets are open with regular hours of operation
- The Palm Beach Outlets will reopen at noon Friday, Oct. 7.
- Youfit Health Clubs will be open to all residents for a hot shower as well as all regular gym privileges.
- Palm Beach Zoo: CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS: While we plan to reopen tomorrow at noon, we are going to need the assistance of volunteers. Anyone at least 18-years-old is asked to report to the main parking lot of the zoo today ASAP for cleanup duty. Cleanup will resume tomorrow morning from 8a until noon. Please bring any rakes, gloves or protective eyewear that you own - we can use it all! If you have questions please call our volunteer manager Gina Howell 423-488-1933.
- All Florida Atlantic University campuses are operating under normal conditions. However, visits to campuses should not be made unless absolutely necessary. Staff need not report until Monday. The Owls football game versus Charlotte has been rescheduled for noon, Sunday, Oct. 9. Gates open at 10:30 a.m.
- American Heritage School at both campuses in Plantation (12200 W. Broward Blvd, Plantation, FL 33325) and in Boca/Delray (6200 Linton Blvd, Delray Beach, FL 33484) will be OPEN on Monday, October 10th. All after-school activities will resume, as well. Buses will run according to their regular schedules.

Palm Beach Day Academy:
Reporting no damage to the West Palm Beach Flagler Drive lower campus and waiting for access to the island of Palm Beach to inspect the upper campus on Seaview Avenue. Classes are expected to resume on Monday, October 8 as regularly scheduled.

MARTIN COUNTY:
- Carrabbas Italian Grill in Stuart, FL will be opening at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 for dinner.
- All Publix stores have now been reopened in Martin county.
- The Martin County Emergency Operations Center has stepped down to partial activation and crews will continue to survey and address impacts from Hurricane Matthew.
- Crews are assessing County facilities such as beaches, parks and libraries and are working to have them open as soon as possible. If power is available at Martin County libraries, facilities will open for normal operating hours on Saturday. All other County offices will resume normal operations on Monday.
- Staff is optimistic that all County beaches will be open on Saturday and lifeguards will be in place at Hobe Sound, Bathtub Reef, Stuart and Jensen Beaches.
- Martin County schools will open with normal hours of operation on Monday, October 10.
ST. LUCIE COUNTY:
- All Publix stores in St. Lucie County stores are open.

St. Lucie Public Schools officials are pleased to report only minimal damage to school facilities, some power outages, and minor debris as a result of Hurricane Matthew. With a strong facilities and maintenance team in place, the District is working to address these needs. The goal of SLPS is to resume normal school operations on Monday, October 10. However, a definitive announcement regarding the opening of SLPS will be made on Sunday.
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY:
- Indian River State College will reopen for all classes on Monday, Oct. 10.
- The Walmart Distribution Center in Fort Pierce Fl has power. We will be up and running starting at 4pm Friday, Oct. 7 for 2nd Shift Associates. First Shift Associates that would like to voluntarily come in to support can also report at 4pm. Walmart Associates that may have Disaster Issues please call the Walmart Emergency Line at 1-800-236-2875.
- All bridges are open. As of this time, there is not a curfew.
- All Publix stores in Indian River County are open.
- A1A at the Sebastian Inlet Bridge is closed and will remain closed until an inspection of the bridge is conducted by Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)
