Chicken Boneless 2 LBS (Bone-in preferred)
Ginger garlic paste 1 Tbsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric, 1/2rd Tsp Coriander Pwdr 1 Tbsp Chilli Powder 1⁄2 Tsp
Mix All ingredients, marinate the chicken for an hour.
Onion fine chopped 1 large
Sliced Garlic- 2 pd
Ginger Julienne 2 Tbsp
Curry Leaves - 10 Nos
Fennel 1⁄2 Tsp
Mustard seed 1⁄2 Tsp
Kashmiri Chili Pwdr 1-1⁄2 tSP
Turmeric powder 1⁄3 rd Tsp
Coriander Powder 2 Tbs
Chopped tomatoes 1 cup
Fresh Coconut - Ground 1 Tbsp
Water 12 Oz
Star anise powder 1⁄3 rd Tsp
Fennel Powder 1⁄3 rd tsp
Garam masala 2⁄3 rd Tsp
Oil 3 Tbs
Salt To Taste
Heat oil, add mustard,fennel when splutter add curry leaves, garlic, ginger,
Add onion. Saute till golden brown,,add chilli, turmeric and coriander. Cook until all ingredients well combined.
Add tomatoes and ground coconut cook till oil comes on top of gravy. Add marinated chicken. Add water if required. Cook till meat is tender and gravy turns little thick.
Add star anise, fennel,garam masala powder.
Serve with Rice or Chapati. (Whole wheat flat bread )
