Charburger with cheese & Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad recipes (7/1/16)

Habit Charburger with Cheese:
3.2 oz. Fresh Burger Patty
1 Slice American cheese
½ tsp Salt and Pepper
½ tsp garlic salt
1 Seeded Burger Bun, Toasted golden
2 Tbs Mayonnaise
4 ea. Dill pickles
¼ cup Shredded Lettuce
1 Slice tomato, medium to large 3/8”
2 Tbs. Caramelized onions (from 1 large onion)

1) Heat a broiler or grill until 400-500 F.
2) In a pan add in 1 TB oil and 1 diced onion, cook on medium and season with salt and pepper until golden brown and caramelized, reserve.
3) Place burger onto hot grill and season evenly with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Cook until desired doneness. Melt a slice of cheese onto the patty.
4) Toast bun on griddle, under broiler on grill until golden and toasted.
5) To assemble: Spread a dime thick layer of mayonnaise onto the bottom or heel of toasted bun
6) Even top mayo with dill pickles. Add shredded lettuce and tomato slice.
7) Stack the burger patty with the melted cheese onto the tomato, spread 2 TB of the warm caramelized onions across the burger patty. Top with toasted bun top.

Habit Double Char Cheese:
2 ea. 3.5 oz. Fresh Burger Patties

Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 (5 oz.) Chicken breast
.1 oz. seasoning mix
6 oz. mixed garden greens
3 oz. Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette (divided)
2 sliced strawberries
2 Tbs. Feta Cheese
2 Tbs. Dried Blueberries

Start by seasoning chicken breast on one side and chargrilling both side until 165°.  Place garden greens into a salad bowl, add 2oz dressing, and toss until all greens are evenly coated.  Using tongs, pile or mound greens in to the center of a salad bowl.  Slice two whole strawberries and place the slices around the outside of the greens evenly.  Spring the blueberries and crumbled feta around the greens.  Cut the chargrilled chicken in 1” pieces and pile into the center of the greens.  Drizzle additional 1 oz/ of dressing over the cut chicken.
