A man in southwest Florida was arrested early Sunday morning after investigators say he busted open the door on a condo and walked around fully nude.
Kevin Killilea, 40, of Naples, Fla., has been charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, a woman in a condo on Pebble Beach Boulevard says she and her daughter were asleep just before 3 a.m. when she heard a loud noise and then footsteps in her condo.
She looked up to find a man, later identified as Killilea, standing in her bedroom's doorway completely exposed.
The woman screamed, causing the man to walk outside.
Arriving deputies began talking to the victim and saw Killilea standing naked next to a patrol car. He was ordered to the ground and arrested without incident.
When asked what he was doing there, he replied, "I was going inside," according to a report. When asked why he was naked, he replied "because I lost my clothes at my house."
Killilea's listed address is about a block away from the condo.
He was transported to the Naples Jail Center, where he was said to be acting under the influence of an unknown substance.
The condo's door was found to be damaged with pry marks and the frame was cracked.
Killilea has several arrests on his record, including several for inhaling/ingesting harmful chemicals.
