(WPLG/CNN) - Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas cruise ship was rerouted to the Port of Miami this week after it was unable to dock in Galveston, Texas, because of Hurricane Harvey.

The ship arrived in Miami on Tuesday after nine days at sea.
The CEO of Royal Caribbean said the ship wouldn't fit into New Orleans or Tampa, causing it to go to Miami.
Passengers could choose to disembark in Miami or stay on the ship.
The ship was scheduled to head back out to sea Tuesday night and arrive in Galveston on Friday.
