(WBBH, NBC NEWSCHANNEL) A woman who suffered a heart attack on a sidewalk near her Fort Myers home is looking for the father and son who came to her rescue.
Laurie Hudson was strolling with her husband last week when, out of the blue, she had a heart attack. A father and son who'd been walking their dog came over and, when Hudson's husband was unable to help because of recent shoulder surgery, they held her up until EMS arrived.
Hudson posted a yellow sign at the site saying thank you, and asking for the strangers to come forward so she can meet them again under better circumstances.
She hadn't heard back from them as of Wednesday evening, and the sign is creating a buzz in the neighborhood.
