TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — A Florida man, who appeared on a Food Network cooking show, was arrested for failing to pay sales tax while he was the owner of a Tallahassee restaurant.

Brian Cartenuto, who was a two-time winner of the food competition show "Cutthroat Kitchen," was arrested on Friday and released from Palm Beach County Jail after posting bond.

The Tallahassee Democrat reports the 35-year old Cartenuto, who lives in Coconut Creek, didn't pay nearly $22,000 in sales tax owed to the state for a five-month period in 2014-15.

The Tucker Duke's Lunchbox restaurant closed in February 2015 after a kitchen fire. The restaurant was in business for just six months.

Cartenuto was arrested on similar charges in September 2015 in Okaloosa County.
