The Port St. Lucie Police Department said an 18-year-old motorcyclist died in a wrong-way crash Tuesday night.
The crash occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on Southbend Boulevard.
Police said the teen, Adrian De La Paz Rodriguez, was traveling northbound in the southbound lane and collided head-on with a vehicle that was heading south.
De La Paz Rodriguez, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was attended to by St. Lucie County Fire Rescue and pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said this is an active investigation and are requesting anyone with information or who witnessed this crash to contact Officer Martin Ghobrial at 772-871-5001.
