The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad responded to a suspicious package in Country Club Acres of Delray Beach Thursday evening.
The situation stemmed from a concerned homeowner who received a package he did not recognize in his mailbox. Since he has had issues with some individuals, he became wary and called PBSO to investigate.
Adams Road and part of Harrison Road was shut down during the investigation but the community was not evacuated and a spokesperson for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said no one was in any immediate danger.
Members of PBSO's bomb squad took the package away and said they would investigate it further.
