The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has agreed to pay more than $300,000 for a deadly deputy-involved shooting that occurred almost four years ago.

A deputy shot Victor Arango outside a bar on June 7, 2012 in Boynton Beach.

PBSO will pay $325,000 to his family and $25,000 will also go to a college fund for his daughter.

The deputy involved, Michael Suszczynski, says he shot out of fear that Arango would pull a gun during a bar fight.

Suszczynski was cleared in the case by the state attorney's office.
