An appearance on the TV program 20/20 could cost Dalia Dippolito her freedom.
The 33-year-old is facing a May retrial on 2009 charges that she tried to hire a hit man to kill her husband.
Dippolito is on house arrest and currently free on $25,000 bond.
According to the State of Florida, she is permitted to travel to the Miami law offices of her attorney to prepare for trial.
However, the State of Florida says on December 4 Dippolito traveled to those law offices to appear on 20/20.
The State of Florida contends that the appearance on TV had nothing to do with the preparation of her trial. As a result, an Assistant Palm Beach County State Attorney has filed a motion asking the court to either revoke or increase Dippolito's bond.
