A Boca Raton salon lent a helping hand Sunday to give some well deserving women a night to remember.
Stylists at Peter Coppola Salon gave free makeovers and haircuts Sunday for the Jewish Residential Care Gala.
The event, benefits these women who live with developmental disabilities including down syndrome.
Stylists at the salon say it’s all about making these girls feel beautiful inside and out.
"It means so much that I can give back to someone that has less fortunate and use my gift to help somebody it's very overwhelming, and I feel very blessed. I hope that they can feel beautiful because I feel that they are very beautiful inside, and I hope that can come out to shine," said stylist Dawn Roy.
The gala occurred at the Boca West Country Club on Sunday night where NewsChannel 5 anchor Michael Williams was the master of ceremonies.
