Jupiter police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man they say tried to make sexual advances towards a woman at the beach on Nov. 10.

Officials say the woman was approached by a man in the area of walkovers 26 and 27.

According to police, the person started to make sexual advances towards the victim, at which time, feeling uncomfortable, she left the beach.

The man followed the victim up the boardwalk towards her car and continued to confront her with lewd behavior, officials said.

The victim was able to push the suspect away and get in her vehicle and leave the area.

The man is described as in his 20s, 5 feet 9 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, dark brown hair and eyes, a dark olive complexion, and a slight thin mustache.

The man is possibly driving a dark blue/black small Honda sedan.
