Two men are safe after one of their kayaks flipped over 2 miles offshore of Martin County.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office received a distress call Sunday that a kayak was taking on water.
Anthony Prezioso's kayak flipped over, and he was clinging to the side.
His friend, 36-year old Juan Eguia was able to describe to dispatchers where they were before the call dropped out.
Units spotted the kayakers about 2 miles off shore in front of the House of Refuge.
A deputy arrived at the scene and pulled Prezioso, 31, into his boat.
Both men had on life vests on, were equipped with cellphones in waterproof cases and distress flags in case of an emergency.
