Jensen Beach residents not receiving mail sparks investigation of US postal employee

JENSEN BEACH, Fla. - The United States Postal Service said Monday they are investigating an employee for possibly stealing mail including gift cards from two post offices in Martin County.

On March 8, USPS agents received allegations that postal customers were not receiving mail in Jensen Beach.

The postal service said the employee was identified on March 15 and subsequently placed on “non-duty status” while they investigate.

The postal service says if you are  expecting a gift card or a check, and it doesn't arrive, report it immediately to the Office of Inspector General Hotline.
