One person is dead after a three-car collision in Indian River County.
The crash happened during the noon hour Thursday at 4th Street and U.S. 1 at Indian River Boulevard.
81-year-old Antonio Rispoli of Vero Beach was eastbound on 4th when he had an unknown medical condition and struck two vehicles parked at the light, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
His Honda Accord then went through the intersection and struck two curbs and a metal signpost, FHP said.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to an FHP report.
The drivers of the two other vehicles were not injured.
