A scooter rider was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in West Palm Beach Wednesday evening, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Captain Albert Borroto.
The crash happened at 9 p.m. near the 5000 block of Purdy Lane.
The injured man was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
