The man accused of killing two people at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in 2013 has been arrested in Colombia and is now back in South Florida.

West Palm Beach police said Javier Burgos faces two counts of first-degree murder.

Ted Orama, 56, and 48-year-old Christopher Marshall were killed on the campus June 19, 2013. Their bodies were found in a maintenance room.

Police said Burgos, who was a janitor at the school, admitted to the killings.

U.S. Marshals told WPTV Burgos was arrested in Colombia after he went into the American embassy and surrendered, saying he wanted to come back to the U.S.

Burgos was then put on a plane bound for Miami with two FBI agents, which arrived Wednesday night.

U. S. Marshals met Burgos and agents at the airport and transported him to the Palm Beach County Jail.

Story updated to clarify that Burgos was not extradited.
