WELLINGTON, Fla. — A man died Saturday morning while golfing in Wellington.
According to Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, two elderly men and two elderly women were golfing at the Wycliffe Golf & Country Club when one of the men attempted to retrieve a hat that was blown into the water.
He drowned during his attempt.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the incident and divers recovered the man.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
