Multiple blood drives in Palm Beach County Wednesday

Following the mass shooting in Orlando, there is still a big need for blood donations.

Donation centers said they received too much blood too quickly, now they are hoping people will start giving blood again Wednesday through the end of the week.

Residents in Palm Beach County can visit the Mall at Wellington Green donate.

Blood drives will be held at the mall from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday and then Saturday and Sunday from noon until 7 p.m. The drives will be outside of the food court entrance.

The public can also donate in downtown West Palm Beach on Clematis Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday or at Granite Communications located at 450 South Australian Ave. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
