WEST PALM BEACH, Fla----- An ordinary morning at work turned extraordinary for several Atlantic Aviation workers who are now being called heroes.

A man riding a lawnmower plunged into a pond near Palm Beach International Airport.

Nicholas Camacho and Joseph Therrien were doing their normal duties at Atlantic when that man tipped over into the pond.

"It was hard to see the guy like that and we just did whatever we were supposed to do," says Camacho.

"We needed to get him out plain and simple," says Therrien.

Another employee who is also a nurse performed CPR on the man.

"She was able to start chest compression. He was unresponsive and we pulled him out, but we got him to come around," says Therrien.

"Her actions as well as these other three linemen saved his life. Absolutely without a doubt," says Seth Majer at Atlantic Aviation.

After fire rescue arrived and transported him to the hospital, those employees took the time to reflect.

"We hope the best for him," says Therrien.

Strangers helping strangers. A story that could have been much worse.
