The U.S. Marshals Service says it's trying to track down an impersonator.

On Tuesday, September 13, 2016, a white or Hispanic male entered the Suncoast Credit Union located at 4491 Underwood Drive, Fort Myers.

He identified himself as a U.S. Marshal and asked the staff a series of strange questions. He was wearing a bulletproof vest, badge, and had a holstered firearm on his hip.

Officials think he might be from West Palm Beach, Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

The man speaks with a New York accent, according to the Marshals Service.

If you recognize him you are asked to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 800.458.TIPS, Lee County Sheriff's Office at 239-258-3855, 239-477-1000, SWFL Crime Stoppers, 1-800-780-TIPS(8477), or the Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers office at (305) 471-TIPS.
