OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. -- A man accused of robbing 5 Walgreens locations at knifepoint in Palm Beach and Broward counties has been arrested.
Boynton Beach Police say 34-year-old Daniel Edelstein of Delray Beach was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and the Osceola County Sheriff's Office in the Orlando area Saturday.
On Thursday, Boynton Beach police posted an image taken from a surveillance video of the robbery suspect on their Facebook page. Someone recognized the man as Edelstein and notified police.
Edelstein's former employer positively identified him as the suspect in the armed robberies, stating she has known him for 15 years.
He faces 5 charges of armed robbery.
