On May 1, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will get in the arena for the weigh-in before the Fight of the Century.

On Friday, tickets for the weigh-in went on sale and fans lined up early to get their hands on them.

They went on sale at noon at the MGM Box Office and online, and since tickets to the fight were almost impossible to get, fans lined up for a chance to buy tickets to the weigh-in.

The lines were dozens deep inside the MGM Grand; almost every box office had people waiting.

Action News spoke with one fan who said he got there at 5:45 a.m. to be the first guy in line.

Tickets were capped at 10 tickets per person and $10 per ticket. All of the money raised will go to two charities.

Normally weigh-ins are free for fans, but promoters knew there would be such a demand for tickets that they decided to take the opportunity to charge.

"I've been to at least ten weigh-ins and the numbers just keep going higher and higher and higher and for this one, I knew even if you sold tickets or paid for it or it was free, the numbers were going to be incredible," said Stephen Bowers.

Many fans who couldn't get tickets to the fight said the weigh-in is the next best thing.

The weigh-in is next Friday. Doors open at noon.
