The Food and Drug Administration expanded its recall of frozen organic spinach products Wednesday.

The recall includes frozen spinach brands Cadia, Meijer and Wild Harvest due to possible listeria contamination from an organic food supplier. The new recalled products list is available on the FDA's website.

Earlier in the week, several frozen food products containing spinach from Amy’s Kitchen (listed products), Wegmans (listed products) and Target (listed products) were also recalled.

No illnesses have been reported. The recalled products should be discarded or returned to the store.

Listeria bacteria can be deadly for children, the elderly or those with a weakened immune system. In pregnant women, it can cause miscarriage or stillbirth.

Each year, about 1,600 Americans are sickened and 260 die from listeriosis, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In healthy people, listeria can cause fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
