CONVENT, La. (AP) -- A former law enforcement officer who had sex with a teenager while infected with HIV has been sentenced in Louisiana to 15 years in prison and $500,000 in restitution.

It's the second guilty plea for 33-year-old Barlon Cammon, who was sentenced in October to 10 years for having sex with another teen.

According to a report in The Advocate, St. James Parish prosecutors say Cammon intentionally exposed the boy to AIDS through carnal knowledge, never revealing his infection after they met through an online dating app. The earlier case involved a different teen in St. John the Baptist Parish.

Cammon was a St. John sheriff's deputy from 2007 to 2009, and a Gramercy police officer from 2009 to 2011.
