According to a MooseRoots.com study that looked at the most common names of geniuses, John and Mary took the top male and female spots, followed by Robert and Elizabeth.
The study's author said in a press release: "Every parent wants his child to be happy and achieve success during her lifetime. Giving your little one a distinguished name is a great way to put her on the right path from the very beginning."
The study looked at nearly 15,000 names of geniuses in various fields like philosophy, mathematics and music to identify the most common first names.
