In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, several nationwide restaurant franchises are giving away freebies or special deals on menu items.
Below is a list of participating chains — all deals are only available at participating locations, so check before going:
Applebees: $4 for margaritas and other menu items including, Sizzling Skillet Fajitas, Quesadilla Burgers and Fiesta Chicken Chopped Salads.
Baja Fresh: Free guacamole, chips and churros with any catering order of $100 or more.
Chili's: Free appetizers, desserts and kids meals with coupon.
Chipotle: The burrito chain gave out its guacamole recipe online for free ahead of the holiday.
Moe's Southwest Grill: $5 burritos. Free t-shirt for first 50 people at participating restaurants.
Starbucks: Half-priced Frappuccino blended drinks from 3 to 5 p.m.
Taco Bell: Free Biscuit Taco from 7 to 11 a.m.
Tijuana Flats: Two tacos, chips and a drink for $5.49.
