The Cobb Salad gets delightful makeover at City Cellar in CityPlace

Call me lazy, or maybe I just have standards, but I find the traditional Cobb Salad annoying; every component is lined up in neat little cornrows. Yes, I like all the ingredients lettuce, tomatoes, BACON, chicken, eggs, chives, and AVOCADO: no, I don't like mixing them all together.

City Cellar, located in CityPlace, solves this issue by presenting the salad tossed. It's like going on a little scavenger hunt when you start devouring your salad; tasty treats surprise your taste buds throughout the meal.

I love this salad so much I had it two times in one week. During my second meal my server, Dakota recommended trying the salad with steak instead of chicken to go with the cheese. She was totally legit in that suggestion; the gorgonzola paired wonderfully with the steak! If you're counting, I had it three times in one week.

 

 

So back to @citycellar_wpb and tried the Cobb Salad with steak this time. So good. So good.

I love that City Cellar uses free range chickens for this salad with a sherry vinaigrette dressing.  BTW you can also get the salad with shrimp.
