Rapids Water Park will be reopen this weekend after closing last week to prepare for Hurricane Irma. Power has been restored and safety inspections have been performed on all the rides.
In addition, the park is slashing prices this Saturday and Sunday to $23.99, with $1 going to Feeding South Florida's Hurricane Irma Relief Effort.
Yesterday, Rapids Spokesperson Tina Hatcher told me that half the park was without power and FPL was onsite restoring their connection.
