If you have children in the school system, you know educating children is not cheap. Parents are often required to buy school supplies, and sometimes even teachers have to foot the bills for their own classrooms.

To help ease the financial burden that school costs can have on parents and teachers, Entenmann’s, Little Bites snacks and Sara Lee Bread have teamed up on a sweepstake that is giving one lucky parent and the school of their choice some cold hard cash.

The #LunchboxGoals Sweepstakes is giving $2,500 to one parent and another $2,500 to their child’s school, for a total of $5,000 in winnings. To enter, visit the #LunchboxGoals website and first type in the grocery store you shop at the most. If your local store doesn’t appear on the list, just type in “other.”

You will then be taken to a page to fill out information like your name, state and child’s school, along with a prompt to write a brief paragraph about why your child’s school would benefit from the money.

The promotion is open to legal residents in all 50 states, but to qualify, you must be at least 21 years old and the parent or legal guardian of a child in a K-12 accredited school.

The winner will receive $2,500 awarded as $1,000 in the form of a check and one $1,500 Visa gift card. The school nominated by the winner will receive a $2,500 school grant on the winner’s behalf.

There is a limit of one entry per person. The sweepstakes run until Jan. 31. You can read the official rules by visiting the sweepstakes website.

While there is no purchase necessary, you can find creative lunchbox ideas and more information about the brands involved in the contest while you’re on the sweepstakes page.

All three brands have products meant to make packing school lunches easier, like Little Bites mini muffins, which now come in a Cinnamuffin flavor that has no high-fructose corn syrup and no trans fat.
