Every four years, we get an additional day tacked onto the end of February — Leap Day.

What you do with that day is up to, but Mother Nature must've had a hard time deciding.

So, she went with a little of everything.

Most of Oklahoma is getting ready for severe storms capable of producing large hail.

Snow is most likely across parts of the Northern Plains.

The Northeast is going to see a rain and snow mixture, and the Northwest is looking at rain in lower elevations with snow in the mountains.

This wide variety of weather is a sure sign we're beginning to transition from the cold, snowy conditions of winter into the unsettled weather of spring.
