Exceptionally dry weather and windy conditions have six and a half million people under a critical risk for wildfires.

There are currently more than a dozen active large wildfires in the United States.

These fires cover almost 200,000 acres of land, and so far in 2016, more than 2 million acres have burned. That number is still smaller than the average number of acres burned up to this point in the last ten years.
