(AP)-- Miami and South Carolina have announced a home-and-home football series for 2026 and 2027.
The Hurricanes will travel to South Carolina in 2026; the Gamecocks will play at Miami in 2027. It will be the teams’ first meeting since the 2014 Independence Bowl when the Gamecocks outlasted Miami 24-21 in coach Steve Spurrier’s final bowl game.
South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner says he and coach Will Muschamp are happy to add a strong, Power Five program to the schedule.
