Peyton Manning hasn’t forgotten his roots. In fact, he spent his weekend remembering some names that all of Tennessee will never forget.

The University of Tennessee alum visited Chattanooga, according to police. The Chattanooga Police Department posted a photo of the Denver Bronco to their Facebook and Twitter accounts.

He’s shown with an officer, and the caption reads: “Thank you for stopping by and for your support Peyton Manning.”

Police posted the photo Sunday morning.

According to WRCB in Chattanooga, where four Marines were shot and killed earlier this week, Manning went to the Navel Marine Corps Reserve where the shooting happened.
