Tuesday is the last day that SNAP users will be allowed to buy hot food products prepared for immediate consumption.

The United State Department of Agriculture made the exception for Hurricane Irma victims and applied to residents of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
The exception applied to people living in the following counties: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Citrus, Clay, Collier, Columbia, Desoto, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lafayette, Lake, Lee, Levy, Manatee, Marion, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Nassau, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Sumter, Suwannee, Union, and Volusia.
After Oct. 31, users will notice the change with many stores displaying signs letting customers know.
