COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A wild turn of events unfolded Thursday afternoon along Alligator Alley in Collier County.
A bobcat was spotted sitting atop a tall power pole on I-75 near Mile Marker 78.
WATCH BOBCAT ON POWER POLE:
Crews in a utility truck used a long pole to gently nudge the animal off. It slowly climbed down and eventually ran off into the brush once it reached the ground.
WATCH BOBCAT CLIMB DOWN POWER POLE:
The animal appeared to be unharmed, although it was panting quite heavily while on the power pole.
