A federal judge has denied Noor Salman’s motion to dismiss or declare a mistrial. Her defense attorneys filing the motion Saturday, in light of new information that the shooter’s father, Seddique Mateen, was a confidential FBI informant up until days before the massacre.

That motion confirmed Seddique Mateen himself is now under FBI investigation.

NewsChannel 5’s Alyssa Hyman went to Seddique Mateen’s Port. St. Lucie home Monday morning.

It's same place he held all of those news conferences in the days after the Pulse shooting.

As she drove up, she spotted what what appeared to be Seddique Mateen in the driveway getting into his car, although he no longer had his familiar mustache.

As she was walking toward him, he rolled up his window and drove away, clearly not wanting to comment on that bombshell revelation he is under FBI investigation.

Salman’s defense began presenting their case Monday. The trial will continue Tuesday.
