CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (KTNV/CNN Newsource) — A 97-year-old woman has left the hospital after recovering from COVID-19 in Coral Springs.
Jean Boccard was taken to the hospital and tested positive for coronavirus about two weeks ago.
Boccard had underlying conditions including heart disease and diabetes, which put her at extreme risk of serious complications or even death from coronavirus.
Boccard fought off the virus and the symptoms in just nine days. She was released from the hospital with a clean bill of health from doctors.
Boccard has advice for anyone facing the virus.
“Don’t give in, fight it,” she said. “Do what you have to do.”
