WELLINGTON, Fla. — Three people were injured when a car crashed into a MetroPCS store in Wellington on Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said crews responded to the store, located near the 10400 block of Forest Hill Blvd., around 12:15 p.m.

Firefighters said a vehicle had crashed into the building.

According to Fire Rescue officials, one patient was taken to a local hospital, and two others were treated at the scene.

Because of the wreck, the Village of Wellington has deemed the MetroPCS building an "uninhabitable and dangerous structure."

No other details, including what caused the driver to crash into the store, have been released.
