Thousands of children and adults across Palm Beach County on Thursday will read the same book, The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach, on the same day as part of Jumpstart's Read for the Record initiative.
The goal is to break a world record by involving millions of adults in reading the nationally selected book on a single day to the most children ever.
The literacy coalition of Palm Beach County is coordinating the activities.
