In an effort to make shopping safer, Publix is now offering touch-free checkout.

In the Publix app, you can add you payment information and just hold up your phone to pay. The app also allows for e-receipts.
The app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Publix also welcome contactless cards and most mobile pay apps.
This is the latest measure Publix has taken to protect customers and employees from coronavirus. Publix has allowed workers to wear gloves and masks and they installed Plexiglas barriers between customers and cashiers.
