Menorahs sold in Target, Playworld Systems slides recalled

Posted

There are two recalls you should know about.

With Hanukkah approaching, Target is reminding customers that it has recalled thousands of menorahsbecause they can pose a fire hazard.

The clear, acrylic menorahs, sold in Target stores nationwide from October 2015 through December 2015 for about $20, can melt when the candles burn.

The 2,600 menorahs were originally recalled in May, but if customers still have them, they should toss them or return them to the store for a full refund.

And Playworld Systems is recalling 1,300 slidesthat are used in school and public playgrounds.

The company says a defect caused two, finger amputations in children.

The Lightning Slides were sold by independent distributors over the last sixteen years.

They are made of stainless steel and the welds on the slides can crack and separate.

A child’s finger can get caught in the space.
