A baby cough syrup sold at Dollar General stores nationwide is being recalled because it may contain bacteria that can cause gastrointestinal illness.

In a news release, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Kingston Pharma, LLC is recalling its 2-fluid ounce (59 mL) bottles of DG™/health NATURALS baby Cough Syrup + Mucus.

The affected lot is KL180157, with an expiration date of Nov. 20, 2019.

The FDA said the cough syrup has the potential to be contaminated with a bacteria that can lead to vomiting and diarrhea.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with this cough syrup.

If you purchased this product, you can return it for a full refund, according to the FDA.
