PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — The original and iconic VH1 VJ Tim Byrd "The Byrdman" is returning to the radio at the True Oldies Channel. He will be waking up South Florida with "Byrdman's Get up and Go Show."

"It's going to be a fun positive atmosphere," says Byrd. "We are certainly are inviting [new listeners] who enjoy great music to join in. And invite the folks that have always been so gracious and lovely to me; we'd like to invite them as well."

Byrd says he is known for making his listeners his number one priority, "What my listeners always knew about me is I loved up on them."

True Oldies plays music hits from the '60s, and '70s, and features John Tesh and legendary New York WPLJ-FM radio personality Scott Shannon.

In the Palm Beaches, you can hear Byrd on WIRK-HD3's repeater signals which are located on W240CI-FM 95.9 with a city grade signal that reaches from Palm Beach Gardens to Lake Worth Beach. Then further north you can hear the programming on W295BJ-FM 106.9 which has a city grade signal that covers Port Salerno to Jupiter.

Byrd has been a rating winner for other local radio stations including Sunny 107.9 (formally on 104.3-F.M.), Kool 105.5, and 97.9 WRMF and in New York on WNBC-FM sharing the dial with Don Imus and Howard Stern. He has a podcast called Palm Beach Live Work Play. And is known as emceeing several events in South Florida.

The new morning drive show will feature music, listener call-ins, live song requests, artist interviews, ticket giveaways, traffic and weather.
