JUPITER, Fla. — Because of the coronavirus pandemic organizers of the South Florida Fair plan to hold a mini-fair in January and a full-fledged fair in May of 2021.

Mini-Fair - What To Know

  • Jan. 15 - 30
  • Hours are Mon - Friday 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • There will be live music (including tribute bands), fair food, livestock shows (including racing pigs), and kiddie rides
  • There will not be adult rides
  • If you buy a ticket to the Mini-Fair it will get you into the full-fledge fair for free in May (Tuesdays - Thursdays)

Full-Fledged Fair - What to Know

  • May 7 - 23
  • The Miss South Florida Fair pageant is TBA
  • Organizers will plan events accordingly to current government COVID-19 guidelines

“We have proven the ability to make adjustments as needed,” said Vicki Chouris, the fair’s president & CEO. “In the name of safety, most people realize why we decided to scale back our traditional fair but we also know they were disappointed. Now they can get two different types of fairs for the price of one, all in the same year.”

The theme for the May fair will be an “An Earthly A-Fair,” which will focus on the environment and is set to have displays from the Smithsonian.

The May fair will have both indoor and outdoor attractions, some 200 rides and games, and more.
