NBC News New York is reporting that radio shock jock Don Imus died on Friday, he was 79.
Imus posted on Twitter last year he was retiring from radio, "March 29th, 2018, will be the last 'Imus in the Morning Program.' Turn out the lights... the party's over.

Imus was know for shocking audiences with offensive comments and making controversial statements and his philanthropy.
Radio trade website Allaccess.com says Imus was admitted to the hospital in College Station, Texas on Christmas Eve due to complications with prostate cancer.
