ORLANDO — Pirate and Princess Weekends will return to Gaylord Palms in Orlando from Jan. 8 - March 7.

Packages start at $189 and include accommodations, a treasure hunt booklet, and tickets to the Pirate Outpost Invasion show.

Gaylord Palms Press Release
Pirate and Princess Weekends allow guests to experience the story of The Captain and his crew of notorious pirates who have plundered the Florida Coast in search of The Princess’s priceless treasure. The pirates have made Gaylord Palms Resort their outpost, commandeering the resort’s Everglades Swamp. Guests will get to embark on their own adventure as they choose to take the pirate oath or become an honorary princess or prince for the day.

Weekend Events and activities include:

  • Guests are invited by The Princess to visit the newly established Everglades Outpost in an exciting and interactive show experience: Pirate Outpost Invasion. Upon entering the outpost, guests will hear tales of adventure, swashbuckling music, and enjoy a sip of The Captain’s brew. But guests must take heed – pirates have made anchor in a nearby harbor and could invade at any time! Experience includes special pirate keepsakes. To allow for social distancing, tickets will be time-specific and capacity will be limited.
  • In the resort’s hidden Pirate Speakeasy, guests will encounter relics from past treasure hunting voyages and the pirates who scoured the seven seas to retrieve them, as well as craft cocktails fit for a true buccaneer.
  • In a Pirate Pool Party, guests will join Jolly Roger and his pirate crew for music, games, and swashbuckling fun at Cypress Springs Water Park.
  • Guests can step into a world of fantasy and experience the story of The Princess in the interactive show Princess Academy. As the tales of The Princess and the Swordmistress are brought to life, guests will become an honorary prince or princess for the day. Join Adventure Kid Sophie, Seth the Sea Turtle, and the resort’s very own pirate, Ava the Alligator, as they explore the natural world we live in during Adventure Kids: Join the Club.
