Playboy did away with fully-nude photos earlier this year.
Tagouri instead appears in black jeans, a leather jacket, and a hijab.
It's part of the magazine's "renegade" series, which it is advertising as a highlight of people who have risked their lives to do what they love.
Tagouri appears alongside a novelist, a sex activist, and a comedian as part of the series.
