PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- Eight students from Glades-area high schools are heading to New Jersey over the next couple of weeks for a competitive basketball camp.
The students were picked by former NBA All-Stars.
Coach "T", a 26-year veteran of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and head coach of the Glades Central High School basketball team had this to say, "It's bigger than the game, though, it's about exposure, just getting them some life experience away from the Tri-City area."
The girls head to New Jersey next week and the boys will have their camp the following week.
